Our creative team loves food and everything healthy. We know the best times happen with family & friends & are centered around food. Our passion for healthy, organic, scratch cooking inspired us to create the ultimate store for dining and provisions.
Whether you dine-in or grab something to go, we take the guesswork out of eating healthy. Our chefs build our recipes using health-supportive techniques and ingredients that maximize the nutritional value of our meals. We pride ourselves on being one of the top Vegetarian Restaurants in Tampa. We also offer several meat and pescatarian dishes using thoughtfully raised methods, along with gluten-free and dairy-free baked goods.
Intelligent Gourmet is an all-day cafe set on a beautiful pet friendly corner in S. Tampa. We are tucked inside the neighborhood of Belmar Gardens.

We invite you to scan our menu of bowls, burgers, sandwiches, salads, wraps & tacos; check out our cold cases that are filled with entrees, wild-caught fresh fish, and smoked fish. Check out our grab-and-go & pantry staples. IG also has one-of-a-kind local, hand-crafted candles, soap, salts, infused honey & artisan cheeses from small batch farms in the south ( not available in any big box stores).
Here we serve locally-roasted Jofferys Coffee & teas, & feature an all-day menu & a bakery. Our baked items are unique in that all items are made, low carb, gluten & sugar-free. The IG bakery also offers a wide selection of vegan, keto/paleo-friendly cookies, cupcakes, muffins & bars. We want to inspire everyone from beginners to experts to constantly pursue the experience of eating healthy without compromising flavor or quality.
We were looking for a healthy option for some meals to go while on vacation and found The Market on Manhattan/Intelligent Gourmet. Amazing healthy options were available from soups and salads to bowls and interesting main course items. They even had oatmeal with fresh fruit and nuts, a juice bar and coffee as well as muffins and desserts!!! The staff was friendly and the owners were very knowledgeable about the nutritional value and quality of ingredients they use in their food and able to help us make good choice. Linda and her team are amazing. They make healthy food that tastes great including low, low sugar desserts. Their veggies are my favorite as they are cooked and ready to go.
